A great rockery plant and suitable for an alpine /Scree garden. Best planted as plants, seeds are very difficult to germinate. Harebell is a very long lived plant and can flower in lawns where no fertiliser or weed killer is used. Harebell is found in the Burren and alone the west coast of Ireland. |
Management: Moderate persistence in alkaline shallow grassland. Keep fertility poor, keep the grass, cut and do not allow a thatch to build-up. |
