Species Common Name: Pineapple Mayweed

Species Botanical Name: Chamomilla suaveolens

An Annual that grows on compact ground, in corn and on newly disturbed ground. Strongly scented. Pineapple Mayweed is a small species that is often over looked, its real value is on driveways and gravel paths, along with Poppy to take the bare look off.

Species Common Name: Primrose
Species Botanical Name: Primula vulgaris

Primrose is a favourite spring flower, difficult to grow from seed, and will tolerate shade and grow in open woodland conditions. Seed is spread by mice and needs a frost to germinate, we supply it in woodland and hedgerow mixtures and it can be in the third to fifth year before it germinates and longer to flower.

Management: Allow to set seed, do not let the plant get smothered by grasses. Best planted as plants and divided after flowering.
